EXAMINATION AND ATTENDANCE:
In case of H.S. course the first year examination is held at
the end of first year course, and H.S. final examination at the end of the
second year course. These examination are conducted by AHSEC. A student must
pass the first year examination for promotion to the second year class. The
result of both the examination are declared by the council. The Terminal/
Preparatory and Annual Examination are conducted by the college. All the
students are to appear in all the examinations which are conducted by the
college authority during the academic year.
As per Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and
Gauhati University rules 75% attendance in class is essential to be a regular
candidate. For college examination the required attendance is 60%.
LIBRARY:
The college has a big library with a good collection of text and reference books
and journals. A student of H.S./T.D.C. (G) can borrow two books at a time for a
specified period after deposition necessary caution money. A student of Major &
P.G. course can borrow four books at a time. A borrower is personally
responsible for loss or damage for books borrowed.
Besides this, all departments have departmental Seminar libraries providing
immense help to students in their academic pursuits.
